ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Matthew and I’m a DJ with over 20 years experience in entertaining people in their homes, in restaurants and bars and in halls and hotels all over London and the south of England.

I cater for all types of party, from birthdays, to Bar/Bat Mitzvahs and Weddings, kids karaoke disco parties, school discos or proms and celebrity or corporate events with several hundred guests.

I am open to all music tastes and have therefore over the years built up a vast

and varied music collection with over 16,000 tracks. I can seamlessly beat-mix any style of music from current pop, dance, r&b, house, party cheese, Motown, soul, rock, jazz, big band, 70’s disco, 80’s and old school hip-hop to name a few.

I’m not an arrogant type of DJ and I do not impose my own personal preference unless I’ve been given free reign to do so. I prefer to discuss the music prior to the event either on the phone, by email or a meeting at your home or the party venue. That way there are no surprises and you know exactly what you are going to get. I am equally happy to work from your own extensive playlist or just from a general suggested musical direction. I also take sensible requests from guests without causing offence if you have authorised it.

If you are planning on having any other form of entertainment or live music, I can also liaise with them and incorporate their equipment into my sound system.

I do not advertise as most of my work comes from recommendation or from guests at previous parties, but occasionally I work for event companies and I am currently recommended by several top London venues as their resident party DJ, including The Blue Elephant Royal Thai in the Fulham Road, Monkey Face in East Finchley and Smith's Bar & Grill in Paddington.

Some of my own private clients include: TK Maxx, The NHS, M&S and Equifax.
